About The Author

Brandy Nacole resides in Arkansas where her imagination runs wild. Her obsession is reading but her passion is writing. She put her dream of becoming a writer on the back burner and went to college to become a psychologist. Three years after endless classes in a field she only felt half satisfied with, Brandy picked up her pen once again and wrote the outline to Uniquely Unwelcome. She finished out her degree in psychology, but traded her dream of writing for the degree and put psychology on the back burner.

Whenever she’s not reading or writing, Brandy is spending time with her family and friends, throwing around crazy ideas, teaching , and singing like a rock star at a concert for no one else but herself. She loves plants, but unfortunately is a killer of anything that requires water but can’t voice (scream) their needs.

She is the author of The Shadow World Series and The Spiritual Discord Series

My Review

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Amazing Read! Brandy Nacole outdoes herself with this story! it has incredible characters and a truly fascinating storyline. I couldn't stop reading it from the very fist line it is a smashing read!

Kayson a fallen Angel and Sabrina a vampire are suppose to be enemies but thanks to a common enemy the Hell Hounds they find themselves thrown together. Wounded in a battle with one such nasty Hell Hound Kayson has no choice but to accept the help Sabrina offers. Sabrina has no idea why she is helping Kayson fallen angels hate vampires, but for some reason she can not bring herself to leave him hurting and helpless.

Emma and her best friend Briston think that today will be just like any other day with the exception of stopping in to water plants at Emma's Mothers house. They never believed that their whole world would be turned upside down when they find a vampire and a wounded fallen angel hiding out at her mothers house.

Things go from bad to worse when the hounds track them down. will anyone get out alive? or will the hounds drag them all into the Under?

This book was soooo freaking good there are no words to describe it! Brandy Nacole is a genius storyteller! I could have read this book forever and never stopped! I really hope there will be a next book as I can't wait to see what happens next!

My favourite character was Sabrina. She was such a wounded and heartbroken person but at the same time tough and strong. Her story was so lonely and heartbreaking but she didn't let it make her weak.

The Hell Hounds were the best bad guys ever! they were scary, creepy and downright mean on all occasions. They never once faltered in their scariness!

If you haven't read this book you so have to get it! it is a must read! for all you supernatural fans out there, this book has it all! butt kicking, love , suspense, intrigue, horror and supernatural creatures!

My Q&A

Hey Brandy, it’s so good to have you back again! When you are not writing what is it you do to unwind? Do you have any Hobbies?

Thanks for having me back, Amanda.  It has been a lot of fun!  I actually have a few different hobbies.  I like to read of course, paint, dance, hike, go trail riding in my Jeep, photography, and so much more.

I so enjoyed Broken Faith. Can you please tell us a little about it what inspired you write it?

Well, it’s a little crazy.  I was coming home from New York last year, which is a 1200 mile drive for me, when I saw two different signs.  One sign said Hollow Point and right behind it there was another one that said Steely Haven.  The two signs caught my mind and I was throwing the words around my head and when I thought Sterling Hollow, I wrote it down.  Long story short, by the time I got home, after two days of daydreaming, I had the whole story laid out and it all happened in a little town called Sterling Hollow.

When writing it is such a process to create a character. Who would you say is your favourite character or characters you created from broken faith and Uniquely Unwelcome?

In Uniquely Unwelcome my favourite character is Queen Kaya.  Although the story revolves around Racquel, and she is definitely my second favourite in the series, it’s fun writing Kaya’s scenes.  She’s not in the first book much but she does become more involved throughout the series.

Sabrina is my favourite character in Broken Faith.  She has such a sad backstory but a strong presence in the book.  I love her witty attitude, her strong protective side, and the fear she tries to hide from the others as she faces the demons out to kill her.  She’s one tough cookie J

So many of your characters are Unique. If you could be any one of them would you?  And if so which one?

I think it would have to be Racquel.  She’s got all the great powers of all my favourite creatures.  And the being she later becomes later on in the series is just amazing.

You brought a lot of quirky and unusual characters together for Broken Faith, did you think when you started the book they all might kill each other in the end?...lol

I actually did think about Sabrina having her fill of Braylee and her ripping her throat out, but I held off.  Braylee will play a bigger part in the future books and readers will begin to see why she’s so annoying in book one.  But yes, a murder or two did cross my mind…lol J

Not a lot of Authors would think to throw Vampires and Angels together. What made you decide to write a novel that had both these major players in it?

Well I’ve always wanted to write a Fallen Angels novel, but I wanted it to be different from the normal falling in love with a human routine.  Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE those books!!  I just wanted to shake things up a bit.  It did take some time to work out all the kinks in the story but like I said, I had 1200 miles to do so.  Later in the series more supernatural beings will be introduced, not too overwhelming but it is going to get interesting.  Can you tell I’m excited?

I can defiantly tell your excited! The Book ended so amazingly! Without giving anything away can you tell us a little about what is in store for your Broken Faith Characters Next?

Well of course the Hell hounds will be back.  Emma and Sabrina will face their own battles in Faithfully Hunted (Book 2).  And one of them will make a decision that will endanger their life but ensure the safety of everyone else’s.  Kayson continues his disagreement with the other fallen as he continues to fight for his belief.  Of course his greatest opponent is Steele.

Thank you for that Brandy! You are such an amazing writer Brandy. What would you say to inspire the many writers out there?

First off, thank you!  That is always so awesome to hear!  And to all writers or anyone else who has a dream they hope to accomplish, don’t let the haters bring you down!  No matter what rank a person is, whether you’re Cassandra Clare or little indie author Brandy Nacole, everyone has haters.  The main thing is to stay focused on your dream, keep your voice, and don’t sweat the small opinion of someone who didn’t adore you.  Not everyone is going to.  But don’t let that persuade you, your thoughts, plans, or dreams.  Because if you do, then you’ll never know how far you could have gone!

As a writer, what would you say is you greatest source of frustration?

Honestly, the same as everyone else’s…time!  Before publishing, time didn't seem like an issue.  Now it is a big issue.  Between marketing, social media, my family—who always come first—and other obligations, finding time to write is sometimes hard.  But just like everyone else, I try my best and make everything happen as best as I can.

That is all anyone can ever do!When thinking of your own life as the subject of a fiction book would you say it was a subject of a: humor, horror, love story etc...?

It would definitely be comical.

Thank you so much for coming back again, Brandy.  It’s been a pleasure to have you back!
